&lt;p&gt;For more than 90 years, Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP has built upon the high standards of its founders with a commitment to integrity, to high-quality client service, and to our communities. Our firm was founded as Sutherland &amp;amp; Tuttle in 1924 by William Sutherland, formerly a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brandeis, and Elbert Tuttle, who later became the Chief Judge on the US Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. In subsequent years, we became known as Sutherland Asbill &amp;amp; Brennan and, in recent years, we combined with an international firm to become Eversheds Sutherland.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Today, our attorneys practice from more than 65 offices worldwide, including eight office locations in the United States:&#160;Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Houston, New York, Sacramento, San Diego, and Washington DC. Summer associates are assigned projects across a variety of matters based on their individual practice area interests. They also attend tailored training sessions and are encouraged to gain practical experience by participating in attorney meetings, transaction closings, client calls, trial preparation, and pro bono assignments. Additionally, each summer associate is paired with advisors who are available to answer questions and facilitate introductions to our attorneys.
